On Monday April 8th, 2013 I attended the inaugural Oceana Ball which raised over 1 million dollars to protect the world’s oceans. It was a wonderful party at Christies which drew a star studded crowd for a highly effective international organization.

Some of their victories include getting Shell to retreat from Arctic Drilling, protection for advanced Great White Sharks in California under the Endangered Species Act, and the EU banning Shark Finning. I will be following their work from here forward and donating however I can.
